Removal Procedure

IMPORTANT: LHD shown, RHD similar.

  1. Remove the seat from the vehicle. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
  2. On the driver's seat, rotate the seat riser knob to the full up position.

  4. Remove the recliner handle.
  5. On the driver's side, remove the seat riser knob cover and fastener.
  6. Remove the seat adjuster side cover.
  7. On the driver's side, install the riser knob without the screw. Lower the cushion.

  9. Disengage the J-strip. Refer to the following:
    • Seat Cover (1)
    • Cushion Frame (2)
    • Foam Pad (3)
    • Cross Tube (4)
    • Seat Cover J-Strip (5)
  10. On the driver's side, raise the cushion and remove the riser knob.

  12. On the driver's side, raise the cushion and remove the riser knob.
    1. Remove the lumbar knob by pulling.
    2. Remove the lumbar actuator fasteners.

  14. Remove the lumbar actuator cable assembly by pushing rearward.
  15. Thread the lumbar cable back above the riser bar to the side of the seat back.

  17. Remove the bolts at the sides of the seat cushion and remove the seat cushion.

  19. Disengage the remaining seat cover J-strips.
  20. Remove the seat cushion frame.

  22. Pull up to expose the hog rings in the foam pad. Remove the hog rings, and remove the cover. Refer to the following:
    • Hog Rings to center listing wire (1)
    • Hog Rings to horizontal listing wire (2)
