Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the glove compartment door cover. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement .
  2. Insert the key into the glove compartment lock cylinder and rotate the cylinder clockwise 90 degrees. The cylinder will stop and the retainer tumbler (first tumbler) will be visible.
  3. Depress the retainer tumbler with a thin bladed screwdriver.

  4. Rotate the lock cylinder an additional 90 degrees and remove the lock cylinder.
