Installation Procedure

  1. Install the hood release cable to the handle assembly.
  2. Install the hood release handle assembly to the filler panel.
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the hood release handle assembly fasteners.

    Tighten:  Tighten the hood release lever-to-I/P filler panel fastener to 1.5 N.m (13 lb in).
