Removal Procedure

    IMPORTANT: SC1/SL/SL1/SW1 have a rear seat cushion cover that has an integral pad. The cover and pad cannot be serviced separately. The rear cushion frame is serviced separately.
  1. Remove the rear seat cushion from the vehicle. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (Coupe)  or Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (Sedan/Wagon) .
  2. Cut the hog rings attaching the outer perimeter of the seat pad/cover unit to the seat cushion frame.
  3. Cut the hog rings at the seat belt pass through locations.
  4. Remove the rear seat cushion pad/cover unit from the seat cushion frame.
  5. Remove the cloth covered listing wire from the old seat cushion pad/cover unit.
