Removal Procedure

Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (Coupe) or Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (Sedan/Wagon) in Seats.
Release seat back latch and tilt seat forward.
Remove the rear fastener of the front lower hinge garnish molding to partially loosen the molding at the quarter lower trim panel location.
On 1st design vehicles only:
1. Remove the seat belt retractor cover by pulling.
2. Remove the coathook. Refer to Coat Hook Replacement (1st Design) or Coat Hook Replacement (2nd Design) .

Remove the quarter window garnish upper molding by pulling. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Quarter Window Upper (Coupe Left Side 1st Design) or Garnish Molding Replacement - Quarter Window Upper (Coupe Left Side 2nd Design) . Refer to the following:
- Quarter window garnish upper molding (1)
- Interlock tab (2)

Remove the quarter lower rear trim panel retainers. Refer to the following:
- Quarter lower rear trim panel (1)
- Clips (2)
- Quarter lower rear trim panel retainers (3)

Remove the rear seat belt bezel. Refer to the following:
- Quarter lower rear trim panel (1)
- Seat belt bezel (2)
Route the seat belt through the slit in the quarter lower rear trim panel.
Remove the quarter lower trim panel by pulling.
