Removal Procedure

IMPORTANT: Before removing, note the position of the door weatherstrip over the edge of the body lock pillar upper garnish molding.

  1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (Coupe) or Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (Sedan/Wagon) in Seats.

  2. Remove the shoulder belt anchor fastener.

  3. Pull firmly at the body lock pillar upper garnish molding clip locations to disengage the clips.
  4. Slide the shoulder belt unit out of the opening in the molding and remove the molding.
