Removal Procedure

  1. Place a prop under the rear compartment lid that will safely support the lid.
  2. Remove the rear compartment lid torque rods. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Hinge Torque Rod Replacement .
  3. Remove the hinge bolts.

  4. Remove the rear window trim finish panel. Refer to Upper Rear Trim Finish Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.

  5. Remove the hinge to body nuts.
  6. Remove the hinge.
