Installation Procedure

  1. Turn the replacement seat cover inside out and transfer all listing wires to the same locations in the new cover.
  2. Center the seat cover over the cushion pad.
  3. Align all listing wires in the seat cover with the grooves in the cushion pad.
  4. NOTE: Do not allow excess cover material to extend past rear edge of cushion pad or cover will wrinkle during installation.
  5. Begin at the inner listing wires of the cover and install hog rings to secure the cushion cover to the paper cord wires. Check the fit of the cover after each tie down wire is secured.
  6. Push the seat belt buckle pass through the flaps and through the cushion pad.
  7. Hog ring pass through flaps to wire in the seat cushion.

  9. Press down at the hook-and-loop fastener attachment locations (1) in the seat cushion cover to secure it to the seat cushion.

  11. Turn the seat cushion upside down. Install the hog rings (1) around the listing wire pocket, at the front edge of the cover (2), to secure the cover to the wire frame. Start at the center and work towards the rear.
  12. Install hog rings around the listing wire pocket at the rear edge of the cover to secure the cover to the wire frame. Start at the center and work towards the ends.
  13. Check the fit of the seat cushion cover. Pull on the cover where necessary, to remove any wrinkles.
  14. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (Coupe)  or Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (Sedan/Wagon) .
