Parking Brake Shoes: Removal

  1. Raise vehicle on hoist. Remove rear wheel.
  2. Remove rear rotor. See REAR BRAKE ROTOR  .
  3. Remove upper and lower return springs from parking brake shoes.
  4. Remove parking brake shoe hold-down retainers.
  5. Remove parking brake shoes and adjuster.
