Rear Disc Brake Pads & Caliper: Removal
- Raise vehicle on hoist. Remove wheels.
- Drive out retaining pins from outside-to-inside, remove pins and retaining spring.
- Remove brake pads. Inspect retaining pins, retaining spring, and caliper piston seal, replace or overhaul if needed.
- Remove brake pipe from rear caliper, plug to prevent fluid loss or contamination.
- Remove caliper to rear axle control arm fasteners. Remove caliper assembly.
