First Design

  1. Turn ignition off.
  2. Remove left side lower instrument panel closeout panel, hush panel push pin fasteners and remove panel.
  3. Remove left side lower heater duct assembly push pin fastener and remove duct.
  4. Remove switch from bracket by rotating 90 degrees.
    5. NOTE: Do not attempt to adjust switch more than 3 times. Multiple adjustments of switch will cause excessive wear on the adjustment mechanism within the switch. If switch has been adjusted more than 3 times, replace switch.
    NOTE: The notch on plunger will be fully visible when plunger is fully extended. If switch plunger separates from switch body, do not attempt to re-insert plunger into switch body. Replace switch.
  5. Fully extend plunger from switch housing, this may require moderate force to prepare switch for adjustment.
