Blower Motor Operates In High Speed, But Not In One Or More Of The Other Speeds

NOTE: If blower motor only works in high speed, check fusible link on blower resistor.

Turn ignition ON. Check operation of blower motor and verify inoperative speed(s). Turn blower motor speed switch to inoperative blower speed. Check voltage between ground and instrument panel fuse block Black 68-pin connector terminal E1 (Dark Blue wire). If battery voltage is not present, go to next step. If battery voltage is present, replace blower relay. Recheck blower motor operation. If blower motor operation is still not correct, replace instrument panel fuse block. Recheck blower motor operation.
Check voltage between ground and blower motor resistor connector terminal "C" (Dark Blue wire). If battery voltage is not present, go to next step. If battery voltage is present, repair open in Dark Blue wire. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Recheck blower motor operation.
Ensure ignition is ON. Turn blower motor switch to inoperative speed(s). Check voltage at suspect blower motor resistor terminal(s). See BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR TERMINAL IDENTIFICATION table. If battery voltage is not present at all suspect speeds, go to next step. If battery voltage is present, replace blower motor resistor. See BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Recheck blower motor operation.
Ensure ignition is ON. Turn blower motor switch to suspect blower speed(s). Check voltage at suspect blower motor switch terminal(s). See BLOWER MOTOR SWITCH TERMINAL IDENTIFICATION table. If battery voltage is not present, replace blower motor switch. If battery voltage is present, repair open in suspect wire between blower motor switch and blower motor resistor. Recheck blower motor operation.
