Removal & Installation - Sedan

Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
Remove A-pillar trim. Remove sun visors. On models equipped with sunroof, remove bezel from dome light and sunroof console by carefully prying at outside edge to release bezel snaps.
On all models, remove B-pillar trim. Remove coat hooks. Disengage Center High-Mount Stop Light (CHMSL) cover by pulling downward to release clips. Carefully pull headliner downward. Disconnect electrical connector from CHMSL. On models with sunroof, disconnect electrical connector from dome light and sunroof console.
On all models, lower front seats to full back position. Carefully disengage Velcro® attaching strips and lower headliner. Remove headliner through right rear door.
To install, reverse removal procedure. Activate air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM . Check system for proper operation. See SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK .
