Circuit Description

When ignition switch is turned to RUN position, SDM performs tests to diagnose critical internal malfunctions. SDM monitors driver head impact air bag high and low circuit voltage difference. SDM uses voltage difference to calculate circuit resistance. A low loop resistance indicates an circuits are shorted together.
