Circuit Description

DTC sets when BCM requests horn operation and horn control circuit (Black wire) is shorted to power.

NOTE: When horn control circuit is shorted to battery power and BCM requests operation of horns, BCM will attempt to switch horn control circuit to ground. High current flow will result and BCM output will go into a protective state. BCM output will not allow itself to be activated for as much as 3 minutes.
