Removal & Installation

NOTE: Rear axle hubs are not serviceable. If hub is excessively worn or damaged, replace as an assembly. On ABS-equipped vehicles, wheel speed sensor is part of hub assembly.

Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel. Remove drum or rotor. For rotor, see REAR BRAKE ROTOR . On ABS-equipped vehicles, disconnect wheel speed sensor connector at back of hub assembly. On all vehicles, remove 4 hub bolts. Remove hub assembly. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten hub assembly bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
