Pump Drive Shaft Seal: Removal

Remove power steering pump. See POWER STEERING PUMP  . Remove pump pulley using Pulley Remover/Installer (SA9162C), or equivalent. Wrap thin piece of shim stock around seal area of shaft to protect shaft. Using a small chisel, cut seal from pump housing.
