Removal & Installation (DOHC)

NOTE: On DOHC engines, remove lifters immediately after removing each camshaft. Store lifters upside down. If left installed, lifters may fill with oil, requiring several hours to bleed down before engine can be started.

Remove camshafts. See CAMSHAFT . Remove lifters (note location for reassembly reference). To install, reverse removal procedure.
