Valve Guides (Oil Clearance)

To determine oil clearance between valve stem and guide, compare diameter of valve stem with inside diameter of valve guide. See appropriate VALVES & VALVE SPRINGS and CYLINDER HEAD tables under ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS . If oil clearance exceeds specification, replace valve and/or guide.
