Removal & Installation (Rear - Coupe)
- Remove headline. See HEADLINER . Disconnect rear drain hose from power sun roof assembly drain tray. Attach about 5 ft. (1.5 m) electrical wire to top of rear drain hose. Wire will serve as feeder for pulling new hose into place. Remove appropriate rear carpet and lower trim panels as necessary to access rear drain hose. Remove grommet from spaceframe between rear side window and rear wheel well.
- With feeder wire attached to top of drain hose and to drain tray, pull drain hose out from bottom of spaceframe. Leaving feeder wire inside spaceframe, disconnect feeder wire from drain hose.
- Attach replacement drain hose to bottom of feeder wire. Working inside passenger compartment, use feeder wire to carefully pull replacement drain hose up through spaceframe. After drain hose has been routed, disconnect and remove feeder wire. Attach drain hose to drain tray. Check drain hose for leaks. See DRAIN HOSES under ON-VEHICLE SERVICE. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
