Oil Pressure Telltale

The oil pressure telltale indicator is turned on by the instrument cluster when it receives a command from PCM on 4-cylinder models, or BCM on V6 models. For a system check, oil pressure telltale indicator will be illuminated for 2-3 seconds at engine start-up and will remain illuminated until oil pressure increases enough to open oil pressure switch.
