ABS Telltale

The ABS telltale is turned on by the instrument cluster when it receives a command from BCM. The BCM receives telltale illumination information from the EBTCM through the Key Word 2000 (KW2000) data link. ABS telltale indicator is illuminated for about 3 seconds during engine start-up for a system check. If ABS telltale indicator remains on, a fault is detected in ABS system and ABS has been disabled.
