Instrument Cluster

The instrument cluster receives information from Body Control Module (BCM), Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and Sensing and Diagnostic Module (SDM) through a Class-2 serial data link. On V6 models only, information from Engine Control Module (ECM) and Transaxle Control Module (TCM) is sent to BCM over the CAN serial data link where it is converted to a Class-2 serial message and sent to instrument cluster. Information from the Electronic Brake/Traction Control Module (EBTCM) is sent to BCM through the Key Word 2000 (KW2000) data link. The BCM then converts it into a Class-2 serial message and sends it to the instrument cluster.
