Diagnostic Aids

If high current flow occurs when BCM attempts to activate relay, BCM will go into a protective state and may not allow itself to be activated for up to 3 minutes. Inspect wiring harness for damage. Check for broken or chaffed insulation. If fault is suspected to be intermittent, wiggling harness wiring may help in locating fault.
