Rear License Plate Rattles When Traveling Over Rough Surfaces (Install All Four License Plate Attachment Bolts & Fully Tighten.

2000-2002 L-Series vehicles
CONDITION
Customers may comment about a rattle type noise that seems to be coming from the rear of the vehicle while traveling over rough road surfaces.
This condition may also be noticed during the pre-delivery inspection (PDI) at Saturn Retailers.
CAUSE
Rear license plate may be loose due to all four bolts not being installed and/or fully tightened.
CORRECTION
Install all four rear license plate attachment bolts to correct and prevent any potential rear license plate rattles.
When installing a rear license plate on any L-Series vehicles during the PDI process, make sure to install and tighten all four four rear license plate attachment bolts provided with vehicle.
