Pump Drive Shaft Seal: Removal

Remove power steering pump. See POWER STEERING PUMP  . On models with L81 engines, remove pump pulley hub from pump using Power Steering Hub Puller (SA9218NE), or equivalent. On all models, wrap thin piece of shim stock around seal area of shaft to protect shaft. Using a small chisel, pry seal from pump housing.
