Rear Side Door Lock Striker Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Using a grease pencil, mark around the striker for installation purposes.
2. Remove the screws.
3. Remove the striker and striker shim if present.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the striker and striker shim, if present, loosely with bolts.
2. Align the striker with the marks made prior to removal.
3. Hand tighten the bolts.
4. Inspect the door closing. Align the striker as required.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

5. Tighten the striker bolts.

Tighten the door striker bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
