Rear Seat Center Belt

REMOVAL

IMPORTANT: Sedan shown, wagon similar.




1. Pull on rear seat cushion retainer straps while pulling up on rear seat cushion to disengage rear seat cushion from floor.
2. Remove rear seat cushion from vehicle.




3. Remove rear seat center seat belt fastener and remove rear seat center belt assembly.

INSTALLATION

CAUTION: APPLY LOCTITE(R)242 THREADLOCKER OR EQUIVALENT TO ALL RESTRAINT FASTENERS BEFORE INSTALLING THEM.

1. Install rear seat center seat belt with locating tab facing downward in positioning slot.

Torque: 35 N.m (26 ft-lbs)




2. Position rear seat cushion into vehicle.
3. Route center seat belts through seat cushion openings.
4. Snap rear seat cushion into attaching retainers.
5. Pull up on seat to ensure seat is properly installed.
6. Function rear seat shoulder belts to ensure proper operation.
