Clockspring Assembly / Spiral Cable: Description and Operation

The coil assembly consists of current carrying coils, two of which are required for air bag operation. They are attached to the lever combination switch and allow rotation of the steering wheel while maintaining continuous contact of the driver deployment loop to the inflator module.
