Pump Drive Shaft Seal: Installation

Lubricate NEW shaft seal with power steering fluid. Install seal into pump housing using a suitable socket. On models equipped with L81 engines, install pump pulley hub using Power Steering Hub Replacer (SA9162C-2), or equivalent. For both L61 and L81 engine types, install pump. Fill and bleed hydraulic system. See HYDRAULIC SYSTEM BLEEDING  under LUBRICATION.
