Diagnostic Aids

When PCM detects a fault (open, ground or short) in circuit, circuit is open internally for protection. Check if condition is occurring when temperature is hot or cold. Use scan tool to determine temperature at time of failure. If a DTC indicating 3rd or 4th gear stuck on is also set with DTC P0732, repair higher gear DTC first. Possible incorrect transaxle case or Fwd/Rev servo piston installed incorrectly causing limited travel.
