Conditions For Setting DTC P0730

DTC P0730 will set under the following conditions:

• Vehicle speed is zero.
• Steady moderate throttle.
• Turbine speed above 756 RPM.
• PCM monitors no turbine speed change when any forward speed is commanded.
• Speed ratio across torque converter is greater than 180. PCM monitors difference between engine RPM and turbine RPM. For example, 255 equals TCC applied with engine speed equal to turbine speed.
