Oil Pressure Indicator

The oil pressure indicator comes on as a bulb check when ignition is turned on and remains on until oil pressure increases enough to open the oil pressure switch. The indicator is controlled by an oil pressure switch on SOHC or an oil pressure sender/switch on DOHC. Indicator will come on if the oil pressure has dropped to less than the normal operating range or the oil level is low. Indicator will remain on until ignition is turned off or oil pressure or oil level is returned to normal.
