Coolant Temperature Indicator

The coolant temperature indicator comes on as a bulb check when ignition is turned on. The indicator is controlled by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). Indicator will also come on if the coolant temperature has exceeded the normal temperature, if the automatic transaxle has an overheat condition or if the radiator cooling fan is malfunctioning. Indicator will remain on until ignition switch is turned off, coolant or automatic transaxle fluid temperature returned to normal or radiator cooling fan is repaired.
