Anti-Lock Brake System Warning Indicator

The ANTI-LOCK brake system warning indicator comes on as a bulb check when ignition switch is first turned to ON position. The indicator is controlled by the ABS module. The ABS system has a built-in self-check feature. The ABS self-check will be performed each time the engine is started. Indicator will come on if the ABS system is malfunctioning. Indicator will flash while driving if ABS system is functioning but requires service. Indicator will remain on until ignition switch is turned off or ABS system malfunction is repaired.
