Removal & Installation

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect electrical connector from master cylinder reservoir. Disconnect brakelines from master cylinder, working carefully to avoid bending brakelines. Plug openings. Remove master cylinder nuts. Remove master cylinder.
  2. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten brakeline fitting and master cylinder nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Bleed brake system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM.
