Diagnostic Procedure

Check for DTC 53. Repair DTC if present. Road test vehicle and monitor transaxle fluid temperature. If no codes are present, check the following; vehicle overloading, oil cooler and/or cooler lines restricted, radiator air flow restricted, low fluid level, inoperative radiator cooling fan, engine running above normal operating temperature.
