Diagnostic Aids
When PCM detects a fault (open, ground or short) in circuit, circuit is open internally for protection.
Poor electrical connections can set DTC. Check connections at PCM, actuator connector plate, instrument panel junction block or underhood junction block terminals. Wiggle connectors while performing actuator test.
Due to clutch priority valve, this DTC will be set when 2nd, 3rd or 4th gear is determined to be stuck on.
If TCC does not apply, ensure engine and transaxle oil are above room temperature and vehicle speed is above 16 MPH.
If TCC does not release, ensure brake switch signal and Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) are working.
