Removal (Drum Brakes)
- Raise and support vehicle using hoist. Remove rear wheel assemblies. Remove brake drum. Remove 4 hub-to-knuckle bolts, and remove hub. Position brake assembly aside. Loosen, but DO NOT remove, front and rear lateral link-to-knuckle bolts and strut-to-knuckle bolts.
- Remove trailing arm-to-knuckle nut. Remove trailing arm-to-body bolts. Slide trailing arm out from knuckle. Remove previously loosened front and rear lateral link-to-knuckle bolts and strut-to-knuckle bolts. Remove knuckle from vehicle.
