Removal (Disc Brakes)
- Raise and support vehicle using hoist. Remove rear wheel assemblies. Disconnect ABS wheel speed sensor electrical connector. Remove 2 brake caliper assembly-to-knuckle mounting bolts. Position brake caliper assembly aside. Remove brake rotor from hub. Remove 4 hub-to-knuckle bolts. Remove hub and brake backing plate.
- Loosen, but DO NOT remove, front and rear lateral link-to-knuckle bolts and strut-to-knuckle bolts. Remove trailing arm-to-knuckle nut. Remove trailing arm-to-body bolts. Slide trailing arm out from knuckle. Remove previously loosened front and rear lateral link-to-knuckle bolts and strut-to-knuckle bolts. Remove knuckle from vehicle.
