Valve Installed Height

Install valve without spring and valve stem oil seal. Hold valve closed. Measure distance from tip of valve to spring seat (valve installed height). If installed height is not as specified, grind valve seat or replace valve as necessary. See VALVES & VALVE SPRINGS  table under ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS.
