Valve Guides (Oil Clearance)

To determine oil clearance between valve stem and guide, compare diameter of valve stem with inside diameter of valve guide. See the VALVES & VALVE SPRINGS  table under ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS. Also see CYLINDER HEAD  table under ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS. If oil clearance exceeds specification, replace valve and/or guide.
