Air Bag Precautions: Tachometer

The tachometer indicates engine RPM. The Electronic Ignition (EI) system module controls the tachometer. A low-to-high square wave signal is received and produces pulses that are converted to RPM. Engine should never be operated if tachometer reading is in the Red zone.
