Tourist mode

In tourist mode, the adaptive headlamps are changed to non-blinding mode if traffic switches from left-hand traffic to right-hand traffic or vice versa. The warning lamp flashes for about 4 s. each time the ignition is turned on while tourist mode is activated.

Proceed as follows to activate tourist mode:

  1. Sit in the car without touching any pedals.
  2. Pull the direction indicator stalk towards you and hold it in that position.
  3. Press and hold the start button until the car is in ignition mode. Hold the direction indicator stalk until the warning lamp flashes and an acoustic signal sounds.

Tourist mode is deactivated the same way. The function is switched OFF if an acoustic signal sounds (warning lamp is not deactivated).
