Adverse weather lighting

Adverse weather lighting comes on when vehicle speed is under 100 km/h (62 mph) and the windscreen wipers are running. The HID lamps shine at different intensities.

The main benefit is that reflections from wet surfaces are reduced to a minimum. This benefits both the driver and oncoming traffic. The area in front of the car is not lit as intensely.
