Adverse weather lighting

Adverse weather lighting comes on when vehicle speed is under 100 km/h (62 mph) and the windscreen wipers are running. The HID lamps shine at different intensities.

The main benefit is that reflections from wet surfaces are reduced to a minimum. This benefits both the driver and oncoming traffic. The area in front of the car is not lit as intensely.

The following conditions must be fulfilled before the adaptive headlamp function can be activated:
