Sunshade Light Circuit Malfunction

  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the appropriate sunshade.
    • A3L Sunshade - Left
    • A3R Sunshade - Right
  2. Test for less than 5 Ω between the ground circuit terminal B and ground.
  3. If greater than the specified range, test the ground circuit for an open/high resistance.
  4. Ignition ON, test for greater than 11 V between the circuit terminal A and the ground circuit terminal B.
  5. If less than the specified range, test the 12 V circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the K9 Body Control Module.
  6. If all circuits test normal, test or replace the appropriate sunshade.
    • A3L Sunshade - Left
    • A3R Sunshade - Right
