Circuit/System Description

The body control module (BCM) uses the ambient light sensor to determine the required brightness of the accent lighting. The BCM applies a pulse width modulated (PWM) voltage through the accent light LED control circuit which gives during daylight 70%, at night 40% and for welcome lighting 100% illumination. The following LEDs will be illuminated, if equipped:

• Accent Lamp - Passenger Door
• Accent Lamp - Driver Door
• Accent Lamp - Passenger Door Handle
• Accent Lamp - Driver Door Handle
• Center Console Compartment Lamp
• Accent Lamp - Left Rear Door Handle
• Accent Lamp - Left Rear Door
• Accent Lamp - Right Rear Door Handle
• Accent Lamp - Right Rear Door
