Circuit/System Description

The brake pedal position sensor is used to detect when the driver presses the brake pedal. The brake pedal position sensor sends an analogue voltage signal to the Body Control Module (BCM), which supplies battery voltage to the control circuits of the right, left and center brake lights and to the trailer lighting converter (if installed in the car).
