Static Test

  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the S78 Turn Signal/Multifunction Switch harness connector. S78 Turn Signal/Multifunction Switch in position for headlamp flasher, test for less than 5 Ω between connection 4 and connection 3.
  2. If greater than the specified value, replace the S78 Turn Signal/Multifunction Switch.
  3. S78 Turn Signal/Multifunction Switch in high beam position, test for less than 5 Ω between terminal 2 and terminal 3.
  4. If greater than the specified value, replace the S78 Turn Signal/Multifunction Switch.
