Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition ON, verify that when the Head-up display dimming switch is change for minimum to maximum position the scan tool Display Dimming parameter changes from 0% up to 100% (depending on ambient lighting conditions the intensity may not reach 100%) and the and the scan tool Dim Select Switch parameter changes from 1-12.
  2. Verify that when the Head-up display switches are pressed and released, the Head-up display scan tool switch parameters toggle between Active and Inactive.
  3. If the switch parameters do not toggle between Active and Inactive, refer to HEAD-UP DISPLAY SWITCH MALFUNCTION .
